Fibre Composition

24% Alpaca Wool · 35% Merino Wool · 21% Nylon · 15% Polyester · 5% Spandex

You'll notice we're not claiming 100% alpaca wool — and that's on purpose. Pure alpaca, while incredibly warm and soft, has no structure. It stretches out, wears through fast, and shrinks in the wash. Not what you want in a work sock.

Instead, we paired it with merino wool for natural softness and temperature regulation, nylon and polyester for durability where it counts, and a touch of spandex so they hold their shape all day. The alpaca does what alpaca does best — keeps your feet warm and dry — the rest of the blend makes sure the sock actually lasts

Size Guide

Pick your size by your normal shoe size.

Small / Medium — UK 6–8 (EU 39–42, US 7–9)

Large / X-Large — UK 9–12 (EU 43–47, US 10–13)

Got a smaller foot and your size isn't showing? No bother — the larger size will still fit you fine. Alpaca has plenty of natural stretch, so the only difference is the sock rising a little higher up your leg. In a work boot you'll never notice.

Between two sizes? Size down for a snugger fit or up for more room — both work.

Every pair is knitted to grip through the arch and stay put, so no slipping down into your boot on a long shift.

Mix Your Colours

Pick a colour, add it. Change the colour, add it again. Repeat until you've the number of pairs you want.

The price is worked out on how many pairs are in your cart, not which colours you chose. Two blue and one grey costs exactly the same as three black. Nothing to click differently, nothing to enter at checkout — it applies itself.

THE TECHNOLOGY

Why alpaca keeps your feet drier than wool or cotton

Hollow-core fibre
1

Hollow-core fibre

Alpaca fibre is hollow at its core. That structure traps warmth better than solid sheep’s wool, and gives sweat somewhere to go instead of soaking into the sock — so your feet stay warm without overheating.

Wicks, then dries fast
2

Wicks, then dries fast

The blend pulls moisture off your skin and dries up to 3x faster than cotton — so no more swamp foot, and no clammy socks halfway through the day.

TESTED, NOT MARKETED

Tested on real building Sites and Farms— not in a lab

These socks were put through wet fields, steel-toe boots and 12-hour shifts by farmers and tradesmen across Ireland and the UK before we ever sold a pair. If they couldn’t survive a working week, they didn’t make the cut. What’s left is a work sock built for graft — warm when it’s freezing, breathable when it’s not, and tough enough to outlast the boots you wear them in.

ROADMAP TO SUCCESS

Get years out of every pair

Pick your size

Go by your normal shoe size. Between sizes? Size down for snug, up for room — both work.

Wash cool

Machine wash cold and air dry. Skip fabric softener — it coats the fibre and kills the wicking.

Rotate your pairs

Two or three pairs on rotation lets each fully dry between wears, so they last longer.

Got Questions? We've Got Answers.

Alpaca fiber is 3x warmer than sheep's wool, 4x stronger, and naturally moisture-wicking. Unlike wool, it contains no lanolin, so it won't irritate sensitive skin or cause itching. Cotton traps moisture and loses insulation when wet—alpaca stays warm and dry even in damp conditions. It's also naturally antimicrobial, which means no sock stink even after long shifts in work boots.

No! Alpaca fiber is temperature-regulating, which means it adapts to your body and the weather. The hollow fiber structure provides insulation in cold weather but also wicks moisture away in warm conditions, keeping your feet cool and dry. Many of our customers wear them year-round across Ireland and the UK—from freezing January mornings to warm July days on site.

Not at all. Alpaca fiber is hypoallergenic and contains no lanolin (the substance that makes wool itchy). It's actually softer than cashmere and feels smooth against your skin. If you've had issues with itchy wool socks before, you'll be pleasantly surprised by how comfortable alpaca feels.

With proper care, Toesie socks last 2-3 years of regular wear. The fiber is 4x stronger than sheep's wool, and we reinforce the heels and toes—the areas that typically wear out first. Many of our customers report their socks still look and perform like new after months of daily use in work boots or hiking boots.

Our Premium Alpaca Socks are designed to work year-round thanks to alpaca's natural temperature-regulating properties. The same sock keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer, so you don't need different pairs for different seasons. This makes them perfect for unpredictable Irish & UK weather.

How do I wash them?

A: It's easy:

  1. Machine wash cold (30°C or less)
  2. Use regular detergent—no special soap needed
  3. Turn inside out to protect the fibers
  4. Hang dry or lay flat to dry

Do not:

  • Tumble dry (heat damages the fibers)
  • Use bleach or fabric softener
  • Dry clean

Unlike traditional wool, alpaca won't shrink or felt in the wash if you follow these simple steps.
